Auch Avatar 2 wird wohl auf Pandora spielen

James Cameron ließ vor kurzem schon einmal durchblicken das es einen zweiten Teil des aktuellen Kinohits Avatar – Aufbruch nach Pandora geben wird. Cameron sprach sogar schon von einer Trilogie, wie wir berichteten. Kein Wunder das man bei den Zahlen an den Erfolg anknüpfen möchte 
.
In einem aktuellen Interview das man auf cinemablend.com veröffentlichte, gehts jetzt weiter ins Detail. So kann man zwischen den Zeilen lesen, das Avatar 2 wohl wieder auf Pandora spielen wird. Die Welt ist errichtet, das Material da. Warum sollte man dieses mühevoll aufgebaute Kunstwerk nicht erneut nutzen? Das ist das, was wir aus den gesagten Worten von James Cameron herausinterpretieren können.
“We always planned on continuing the world and continuing the characters. We’re going to spend a lot of money building this world and all these digital characters and digital plants and trees and mountains and so on, and then once we’ve got it, we’ve got it. It’s not like it’s a practical set that when you build it, you have to tear it down and you’re left with a big pile of lumber out behind the studio. We have all that stuff so we can go again“.
Des Weiteren sagte er aber auch, das nicht einmal das Drehbuch geschrieben ist. Es wird also noch eine ganze Weile dauern, bis wir mit der Fortsetzung von Avatar – Aufbruch nach Pandora rechnen können.
Dazu sagte Cameron nämlich: “We just have to come up with a great story, which we haven’t done yet. I have a rough story, but you need to make a script, so that might take some time. Don’t start going to buy your tickets.“.
